Dr. Jennifer Oberholtzer
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Jennifer Oberholtzer, a proud graduate of Midwestern University’s inaugural class in Glendale, AZ, earned her degree in 2018 with six years of experience in veterinary medicine. Her passion spans various fields, with a keen focus on internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, nutrition, and emergency care.
She takes pride in nurturing the bond between clients and their pets. Her Fear Free certification reflects her dedication to creating stress-free experiences, especially with aggressive dogs, using positive reinforcement methods to ensure a comfortable and positive visit. Dr. Oberholtzer indulges in spoiling puppies during each vaccine visit, aiming to create a delightful association with the veterinary clinic.
In her free time, she loves gardening, anything beach-related, surfing, and traveling with my husband and baby. She has two mini doodles, Charlie and Murphy, a Siamese grumpy cat named Marcus, and 4 chickens: Gouda, Gorgonzola, Pepper Jack, and Blue.
Fun fact: She lives on an avocado farm.
Janene
Client Service Representative / Veterinary Assistant
Janene has on-the-job training/experience in the Veterinary field. She went to Mira Costa College, majoring in Business and Business Law, and San Jacinto for Criminal Justice and Drug Recognition.
She prides herself in developing good relationships with the clients and getting to know their animals and is always open to learning new techniques and procedures for the animals. This helps her in her personal life with her farm and animals at home too. She loves working with different doctors and seeing how each handles patients and procedures. She believes you can always learn something new, or a new way to handle the situation.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her kids and granddaughter. She and her husband enjoy the wineries and running their farm raising horses, Nubian Goats, chickens, quail, and more. She teaches/hosts paint and sips, farm tours, and classes on different aspects of raising animals and farming. She loves making goat milk soaps and selling what they produce from their farm.

Registered Veterinary Technician
Briana joins the Vineyard Veterinary Hospital team with 6 years of experience. When it comes to Veterinary Medicine, she takes pride in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring pets receive the best attention during their visits, surgeries, and hospitalizations. Being there for patients in their time of need is extremely important to Briana.
When she is not tending to her beloved patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, helping her dad care for his cattle, and staying active with outdoor walks and going to the gym! She also loves baking sweet treats and going on travel adventures to new places.

When Angel is not at work, she loves spending time with her family and friends, camping, visiting the beach, taking trips, and playing with her furry pets.

Aubree has been in the Veterinary field for over 15 years. She has a passion for developing meaningful relationships with both our clients and our patients. She strongly believes providing exceptional customer service is what builds a successful veterinary practice. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, 3 Persian cats, gecko, rescued bunny, and caring for her saltwater tank.
Dr. Robert Totman
Owner, Medical Director
Dr. Totman was raised in Wichita, Kansas, the eldest of three children. He started his veterinary career in Costa Mesa, California. He was the Medical Director at a satellite hospital for one of the first referral practices in Southern California. He eventually opened his first practice in Laguna Niguel, where he practiced for 20 years! In January 2003, he purchased Vineyard Veterinary Hospital, where he currently practices as Medical Director.
Dr. Totman has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. He also likes seeing young puppies grow into healthy adults and working with geriatric patients to deliver the best quality of life possible.
Dr. Totman lives with his wife Joan, the practice manager at Vineyard Veterinary Hospital, and their four dogs: Sully, Sophie, and Rylee. Dr. Totman enjoys woodworking, cooking, and wine tasting when not practicing veterinary care.
Joan Totman
Retired
Joan is the Practice Manager at Vineyard Veterinary Hospital and spends her day caring for pets and their owners. Prior to becoming the practice manager, she worked on Wall Street for many years. Looking for a change, she applied for an Office Manager position at a local veterinary hospital. She was hired and 19 years later is still going strong in the profession. Now, as Practice Manager of Vineyard Veterinary Hospital, she gets to work alongside her husband, Dr. Totman. She makes sure the hospital has everything it needs for the team to do the best possible job and really takes pride in making sure the clients have an exceptional experience with every visit.
In her spare time, Joan likes to paint and garden. She also likes to cook and enjoy good wine with her husband.
Dr. Regina Wandrey
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Regina Wandrey received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University College Dublin and has 10 years of experience providing excellent care for pets and pet parents. Her passion spans from soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and dentistry! Dr. Wandrey takes great pride in her communication skills. Open communication is one of the core components of veterinary medicine. Being open and understanding with clients, about patient care while respecting their personal situations cultivates a better, more trusting relationship.
Dr. Wandrey grew up in Wisconsin and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison before moving to Ireland for Veterinary School for 4 years. She has two cats, Aoife and Seamus, and a Boston Terrier, Leo! In her free time, Dr. Wandrey spends time with her family. She has a wonderful husband and two children. They all love to explore the local areas and enjoy traveling. When she finds a spare moment to relax, Dr. Wandrey enjoys reading!
Dr. Oren Drelich
Medical Director
Dr. Drelich was raised in South Florida and completed a bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley in 2003. He earned a master’s degree in wildlife health at the University of Sydney before completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis in 2010. After veterinary school, he completed a medical and surgical internship at the Animal Surgical and Emergency Center in Los Angeles, CA in 2011. Since then, he’s worked exclusively with small animals in Temecula and San Diego for the last 11 years.
His professional interests include radiology, surgery, and internal medicine. He enjoys outdoor sports and traveling to national parks with his wife and three daughters. He shares a house with three devoted dogs and a loving cat.
Hannah Staiger
Registered Veterinary Technician
Hannah graduated with honors in December 2015 at Montana State University (Go Bobcats!). She received her Bachelor’s in Animal Science. Six months later she enrolled in an online veterinary technician program and graduated in May 2019 from San Juan College and passed her national exam in August 2019. She’s been in the veterinary field now for the past 12 years.
Hannah prides herself on passion. She loves anesthesia (especially dentistry) and in that field, she is constantly assessing the situation and the patient. Her goal is to maintain a safe anesthetic experience and a smooth recovery for patients. In her free time, she likes to go hiking with her dogs, ride her horse, watch every sports game she can find, and drink lots of coffee!
Jim Tabor
Veterinary Technician
Jim grew up on a farm in California where he helped care for every animal, from dogs, cats, and goats to turkeys, cows, pigs, and donkeys. He started his career working as a coffee shop manager for 20 years but decided it was time for a change. He signed up for a course in veterinary technology at his local community college and never looked back. He’s been in the veterinary field now for the past 12 years.
Jim has been a part of the Vineyard Veterinary Hospital family since May of 2018. He feels grateful to work with a talented team of animal lovers, and he also enjoys continuing to learn new things every day. When not helping to care for pets, Jim can work on home improvements or tend to his own small farm. He has two dogs, five indoor cats and five outdoor cats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, peafowl, emus, and a pair of three-legged rabbits!

Area Hospital Manager
Lacie is the Area Hospital Manager at Vineyard Veterinary Hospital. She has been in the veterinary field for over 15 years. Originally, she was hired as a kennel technician and was quickly promoted to veterinary technician. She worked directly with an exceptionally knowledgeable, highly experienced veterinarian who was her mentor and teacher through the years. She is well educated with national and international pet travel after working in conjunction with a USDA Veterinarian. Lacie has been in veterinary management for over 9 years and has a passion for leadership, mentoring and creating a positive culture and work environment. Her professional interests focus on practice management, customer service, patient care, and continuing education. Her idea of success in veterinary medicine is creating empowered employees through support, opportunity, and education. Because of her experience as a veterinary technician, she is able to work side-by-side with her team to assist and train. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, traveling, hiking, riding her spirited Quarter Horse, Willow, and hanging out with her Anatolian Shepherd, Maggie.

Connie went to Western Career College and has been practicing veterinary medicine for 30 years!
She prides herself on excellent patient care, ensuring all pets have a positive visit anytime they come to our hospital. Connie is exceptional in dentistry and enjoys sharing her skills with co-workers.
Connie enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and learning new skills in her free time.
Adrianna Fernandez
Customer Service Representative
Adrianna has been working in the veterinary field since 2012 and prides herself on having excellent customer service and being sure to hear the needs of her clients.
In her free time, Adri enjoys traveling, both domestically and abroad. She also likes going to fairs and festivals. She likes staying in and watching Netflix with her two dogs when she wants a quiet weekend.

Sara Barba has over 6 years of experience in veterinary medicine and prides herself on compassionate patient care. She excels in warmly greeting clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring clear communication. Sara’s dedication to excellence drives her to provide the best medical services and support for both pets and their owners. In her free time, she loves capturing memories with her camera, spending quality time with her dogs Kona and Howie, and creating unforgettable moments with family and friends through boating, camping, and beach days. Family, friends, photography, and outdoor adventures are what make her heart full.
Kathi Fright
Customer Service Representative
Kathi has been in the veterinary field since 1994 and prides herself on providing quality care to clients and pets. Being a pet owner herself, Kathi is compassionate towards clients when their pet is ill and is attentive to client and pet needs.
In her free time, Kathi enjoys relaxing, Netflix, and going to the dog park with “Maurice,” her Frenchie. She enjoys visiting family and friends and seeing live bands at Pubs, especially Irish music.
