In the last 10 years Dr. Totman has cared for all of my fur babies with expertise and compassion that is unparalleled in Temecula. The happiest day is when you get your pet, the saddest day is when you say goodbye to your pet. And with all the things that happen to your pet then and in between, you want expert care in a family-owned environment vs. a corporate sales-oriented one. No one wants to think of that worst day. When that day comes though, as it did for me this week, you want a vet and staff who is sensitive to your pet’s needs, comfort, and your grief. You want a vet who loves his patient, and you get that with Dr. Totman and his staff.
The entire staff is great with all the pet companions. Genesis is always excited to visit. They are always able to fit you in for emergencies and assist w/ any necessary insurance claims.
Dr. Totman took care of our dog, Sadie, for almost 11 years until she had to be put down. We were very happy with the care Sadie received while she was still alive. Now, he takes care of our daughters cat that we are in possession of. We wouldn’t take our pets anywhere else. The staff is very professional, caring and compassionate. We highly recommend Vineyard Veterinary Hospital for all your pets needs!

Amazing staff, great friendly place to take the furry members of your family. The veterinarian was so amazing with my dogs and really genuinely cared about their health and well being. 10/10 would recommend and as long as I’m in temecula I will be bringing my woofs here for all their health and dental needs.
I have used Vineyard Veterinary Hospital for approximately 15 yrs. My first dog ROSEBUD, a miniature Schnauzer. received her “puppy shots” there. The Doctors there have always been thorough in their examinations, taken time to listen to any concerns that I might have had during the Annual examinations. prompt in reminding me when they were due and then calling with the results when they came in. The Staff has always been outstanding, friendly and taken time to put my dog at ease before taking her away for treatment. After Rosebud’s passing from old age I am now on my second Schnauzer, Dotti. Again I am returning to Vineyard Veterinary Hospital for her care. Knowing that I am placing my faith in good reliable and caring people.
Dr. Totman and his staff are not only professional but caring passionate people. I’m so grateful to him and his entire staff for the consistent amazing care they provide my fur babies. It’s comforting knowing my babies have someone so special looking after them.
My cats were stressed out when we arrived but this is them shortly after. Every person who came into contact with us was calm, understanding and great with my babies. I’ve been looking for a new vet, for quite some time and I’m happy to say…we’ve found one. Highly recommend!!
Amazing …..my cat was so mean I was worried that they wouldn’t be able to examine him. I called they were able to get him in 2 days later .we only waited about 10 min they took him in and pretty quickly they came out and told me what was wrong and they could do the procedure the next morning …. I brought him back ..and when he was done the doc called me to explain what he had done .he answered ALL my questions.when I picked my baby up I knew he had been treated the way I treat him .they are the best and affordable…definitely our new vet!!!
Dr. Totman shows extreme care with my fur babies. He is knowledgeable and easy to talk to and explains things so you know what’s going on. I wouldn’t trust the care of my pets with any other veterinarian. Thank you for making even the tough situations easier to handle.
I have been a client of Dr. Totman’s for the past few years. Staff is always great to work with and Dr. T. is a very caring person. We have a golden that has a small lump on her side – we do rechecks every 6 months and always has his staff call us as a reminder so that we don’t forget to check on it. My two daughters have also transferred from our previous vet – and we are all glad we did!@!
I have been taking my dogs to Vineyard Veterinary Hospital for several years. They have a knowledgeable, helpful staff and Dr Totman is a superb vet. He has a way of developing trust with the dog and is always very thorough and professional.
